This visit follows recent Foreign Office Consultations that affirmed the positive trajectory of the India-Jordan partnership, with a focus on strengthening collaboration in political-security, economic, and people-to-people exchanges. Plans are also in motion to celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations through various events. The economic partnership is thriving, with bilateral trade reaching USD 2.8 billion in 2023-24, making India a top trading partner for Jordan. The countries aim to further diversify economic cooperation and promote investments, including supporting educational initiatives like the India-Jordan Centre of Excellence in IT.
