The grounds of Delhi Public School in Ranchi came alive on Thursday with a specially organized Day Adventure Camp for the Primary Wing’s ‘little DPSites’. The campus was transformed into a dynamic adventure park, filled with the vibrant energy and cheerful voices of young participants. The camp provided a unique platform for the school’s youngest students to cultivate bravery and an exploratory spirit amidst thrilling fun.
Thirteen distinct adventure activities formed the core of the camp, including popular attractions such as water boats, trampolines, the jumping Mickey Mouse, Burma Bridge, rappelling, commando nets, the flying fox, and zip lining. Each station was designed with utmost attention to child safety, allowing students to experience the excitement while gaining confidence and developing fearlessness. The sheer delight on the children’s faces and their repeated enthusiasm confirmed the event’s success.
The camp was officially launched by Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan, who delivered an inspiring message. She highlighted the significant contribution of such hands-on activities to the all-round development of students. Dr. Chauhan explained that experiential learning methods are instrumental in building not just physical strength but also essential qualities like self-belief, teamwork, and mental toughness. She committed to incorporating more such beneficial activities.
Snacks were provided to sustain the children’s energy levels, which were eagerly enjoyed by all. This Day Adventure Camp was more than just a recreational event; it was a memorable day packed with learning, camaraderie, and pure fun for the young attendees. It truly served as a lively celebration of discovery and adventure, providing a memorable break from their usual school routine.
