
A poignant memorial service was held at the Hazaribagh Police Line on Tuesday to mark Police Commemoration Day. The event saw Superintendent of Police Anjani Anjan leading the tributes to the police personnel who sacrificed their lives while serving the nation. He articulated that the valor, commitment, and ultimate sacrifice of these brave officers are a profound source of inspiration for society at large. The gathering included distinguished police officials such as the SDPO, DSP, Major, and Sergeant Major, alongside numerous police personnel, all observing a two-minute silence to honor the memory of their fallen comrades. During the ceremony, police officials extended support to the families of the martyrs, addressing their issues and providing assurances of all possible help. The Superintendent of Police urged everyone to emulate the martyrs’ devotion to duty, immense courage, and patriotic fervor. He pledged that the police force would remain committed to realizing their aspirations. The day’s proceedings concluded with a collective commitment from officers and jawans to protect and preserve peace within the region.
