Cricket Australia has unveiled a series of squad changes impacting both the One Day International and T20 International teams facing India. For the third ODI, Jack Edwards from New South Wales earns a call-up. In a strategic move, Marnus Labuschagne has been released from the ODI squad to concentrate on his Sheffield Shield commitments for Queensland. Matthew Kuhnemann is also back in the ODI squad for the final game, having been absent from the second ODI due to Adam Zampa’s availability.
The T20I contingent also sees shifts, with Josh Hazlewood and Sean Abbott departing the series midway to fulfill Sheffield Shield obligations. Hazlewood will participate in the opening two T20Is, while Abbott will leave following the third fixture. On a positive note for Australian fans, Glenn Maxwell is scheduled to rejoin the T20I squad for the concluding three matches, and Ben Dwarshuis will be available for the final two T20Is.
