Jagdeep Singh alias Jagga, a prominent figure in the Lawrence Bishnoi crime syndicate and now connected with the Rohit Godara gang, has been arrested in the United States. International efforts are in motion to facilitate his extradition to India. Jagga is a proclaimed offender in Punjab, facing over a dozen criminal cases in the Dhurkot region. He is also wanted in Rajasthan, with arrest warrants issued by courts in Jodhpur for cases registered at the Pratap Nagar and Sardarpura police stations. Jagga has a past record of imprisonment in Punjab and Rajasthan. He departed India about three years ago, first reaching Dubai with his passport, and then entering the US illegally. US ICE apprehended him near the US-Canada border. This arrest is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle transnational criminal networks, following the recent deportation of Lakhvinder Kumar, another associate linked to the Bishnoi gang.
