
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has finalized the officiating team for the grand finale of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. The highly anticipated match, featuring the formidable teams of India and South Africa, will take place on Sunday, November 2, at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. This final represents a significant opportunity for both nations to claim their maiden Women’s ODI World Cup title.
Eloise Sheridan and Jacquline Williams have been selected as the on-field umpires for the championship match. Their experience in managing high-pressure situations is well-documented, including their officiating during South Africa’s decisive semi-final win against England. Williams was also on duty during the group stage game between the two eventual finalists, a match that saw South Africa achieve a remarkable comeback victory.
Completing the officiating crew are Sue Redfern (Third Umpire), Nimali Perera (Fourth Umpire), and Michelle Pereira (Match Referee). The exciting conclusion to the tournament is scheduled to begin at 15:00 IST, capping off a captivating competition. Both India and South Africa reached the final by defeating strong contenders Australia and England in their respective semi-finals.
