Hyundai India has officially rolled out the highly anticipated second-generation Hyundai Venue and its sporty N Line variant. This launch marks a significant update for the popular compact SUV, introducing substantial improvements in styling, interior comfort, and crucially, driver assistance technology. The company aims to reinforce the Venue’s strong market presence with these upgrades.
The exterior design of the new Venue is more assertive and contemporary. It features a redesigned rectangular grille adorned with dark chrome inserts, flanked by advanced quad-beam LED headlamps. The C-shaped DRLs and the sophisticated connected light bar at the top lend a premium look. The side profile is updated with new 16-inch alloy wheels and subtle chrome detailing. The rear design is characterized by muscular lines, connected taillamps, and a distinctive 3D Venue emblem.
Inside, the Venue showcases a refreshed interior with a sophisticated dark navy and dove white color scheme. The most striking feature is the dual 12.3-inch curved display system, seamlessly integrated into the dashboard, which also features a new terrazzo texture for added flair. Passenger comfort is enhanced by a 20mm increase in wheelbase, providing more rear legroom. Practical amenities like rear AC vents, sunshades, and reclining rear seats ensure a pleasant experience for all occupants.
A major highlight is the inclusion of Level 2 ADAS technology, bringing advanced safety and driver assistance features to the compact SUV segment. Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, ESC, a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. Convenience features like wireless smartphone integration, a voice-controlled sunroof, ventilated front seats, and ambient lighting are also part of the package.
Engine choices encompass a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel. The diesel engine is now available with an automatic transmission. The Venue N Line is powered by the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol unit, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. The new Hyundai Venue is priced from Rs 7.90 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it competitively.
