Jharkhand Pavilion displayed its diverse potential from ragi to uranium. Jharkhand, the mineral capital, boosted investor confidence at the international trade fair. Jharkhand Pavilion at IITF 2025 sends a message: Jharkhand is an emerging economic powerhouse. Jharkhand is known as the country’s Mineral Capital. Strongly reflecting this identity, the pavilion features a detailed display of the state’s major minerals such as iron ore, coal, mica, copper, uranium, bauxite, limestone, gold, granite, and stone. These minerals are not only the backbone of India’s industrial growth but also drive several important sectors like energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, and defense. Through this exhibition, the state is conveying the message that Jharkhand’s mining sector plays a significant role in India’s economy, job creation, and investment attraction. Ragi is a sustainable and high-nutrition crop for Jharkhand’s farmers. Along with mineral wealth, Jharkhand has also specially showcased its ragi crop this year. Ragi, known as a nutritious grain (millet), is a sustainable and high-nutrition crop for farmers in Jharkhand, especially for rural and tribal communities. Ragi-based products such as ragi flour, biscuits, snacks, and health foods at the pavilion attracted special attention from visitors. The state government is actively taking initiatives to increase farmers’ income by promoting ragi cultivation, encouraging climate-resilient farming, and connecting them to the market. This balanced display of the Jharkhand Pavilion in both mining and agriculture sectors demonstrates that the state is not only a production hub of natural resources but also presents a strong model for food security, women’s empowerment, rural development, and sustainable economic growth. Jharkhand is an emerging economic powerhouse. At IITF 2025, the Jharkhand Pavilion, with its diverse strengths, is sending a message to investors, traders, and visitors from across the country and abroad that Jharkhand is an emerging economic powerhouse with immense potential in mining, agriculture, and industry.
