Raipur, November 18, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today, during the special session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, remembered three prominent public representatives who contributed to Chhattisgarh’s silver jubilee journey: Shrimati Rajni Tai Upasane, Shri Banwari Lal Agrawal, and Shri Radheshyam Shukla.

Chief Minister Sai said that Shrimati Rajni Tai Upasane, the first woman MLA of Raipur, was an inspiring personality in political and social life, and her demise is an irreparable loss to the state. Remembering Shri Banwari Lal Agrawal, he said that as a former Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, a two-time MLA, his public service works and dedication to the organization and society are exemplary for all of us.

Chief Minister said that Shri Radheshyam Shukla will be remembered as a disciplined and diligent public representative. His entire life was dedicated to public service, and with his demise, the state has lost a committed leader. Chief Minister Shri Sai prayed to God for the peace of the souls of the three departed dignitaries and for strength to their families.
