Jharkhand’s government schools are embracing technology with the introduction of digital report cards, beginning with 80 ‘Schools of Excellence’. This pilot program aims to bring a modern, data-driven approach to student assessment, with plans for a statewide rollout to follow. The initiative promises a more detailed and accessible way for students and parents to track academic performance.
The Sir JC Bose School of Excellence Girls in Giridih is set to pioneer the digital report card system on December 5th. According to Principal Munna Prasad Kushwaha, these digital reports will present a holistic view of student progress, including scholastic scores derived from a blend of monthly tests (40%) and SA-1 assessments (60%). The co-scholastic section will also be enhanced, providing a more comprehensive picture of student engagement and development beyond academics.
