The Prime Minister highlighted on X that the ancient scriptures of the Gita serve as a source of inspiration for countless individuals across the globe. This presentation signifies the shared values and enduring spirit of cooperation between India and Russia.
Upon his arrival at Palam Airport on Thursday evening, President Putin was greeted by Prime Minister Modi. Their warm reception, including a hug and shared travel to the Prime Minister’s residence for a private dinner, set a cordial tone for the visit. Modi expressed his pleasure in hosting Putin, underscoring the long-standing and beneficial partnership between the two nations.
President Putin’s schedule on Friday was extensive. It commenced with a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan, followed by a visit to the Raj Ghat memorial. Key bilateral negotiations with Prime Minister Modi took place at Hyderabad House, where outcomes were expected to be shared with the press. The agenda also included interaction with Indian business leaders and a meeting with President Droupadi Murmu, culminating in his departure later in the evening.
