
A significant Rotary District Conference is scheduled to take place in Ranchi from December 19th to 21st. Spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Ranchi, the three-day conference will be held at the prestigious Ranchi Club premises. This gathering is expected to convene over 1500 delegates hailing from 125 Rotary clubs spanning Jharkhand and Bihar. Assistant Governor (Rotary Image) Praveen Rajgarhia confirmed that meticulous planning has spanned the entire year, with the entire Ranchi Rotarian community actively contributing to ensure its success. The event will feature Past Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta as its esteemed chief guest. Among the notable guests gracing the occasion will be Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Union Minister of State for Defence and MP for Ranchi, Sanjay Seth, Maharashtra Government’s Cabinet Minister Jaykumar Rawal, Nilendu Kumar Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of CCL, and Ravi Raman, representing the Rotary International President. The conference will also feature insights from prominent personalities, including Past Rotary International Director Kamal Sanghvi, Foundation Chairman Mahesh Kothari, senior IAS officer Rohit Singh, acclaimed actress Sudha Chandran, and cyber security expert Mahima Bhalotiya. The core of the conference will involve deliberations on Rotary’s ongoing social initiatives, the launch of new projects, club development strategies, and future endeavors. Key sessions will be dedicated to critical aspects such as education, health, sanitation, and community service, fostering an environment for knowledge exchange and networking.
