A disturbing incident of sexual exploitation involving a minor has been resolved with the arrest of the perpetrator in the Gua police station area of West Singhbhum. The accused, identified as Krishna Sinku, allegedly promised marriage to the underage girl, continuing the exploitation for roughly two years until she became pregnant. The timely intervention of the police followed a complaint filed by the victim’s family.
Local police reported that the victim’s father filed a formal accusation against Krishna Sinku, a resident of Dipasai village, for the sustained exploitation of his daughter. The accused is alleged to have deceived the minor for nearly two years, culminating in a pregnancy due to the illicit relationship.
In response to the complaint, Gua police initiated an FIR. A special investigative team, formed under the direction of the Superintendent of Police and supervised by Kiriiburu SDPO Ajay Kumar Kerketta, swiftly apprehended Krishna Sinku in his native village.
The victim has provided her statement to the police and is undergoing medical evaluation at Sadar Hospital, Chaibasa. The apprehended suspect was brought before the judiciary and has been remanded to judicial custody. Authorities are committed to a comprehensive investigation and further legal action.
