A man lost his life in Markachcho, Koderma, after being attacked by a wild elephant. The victim, Saddam Ansari, 30, and two companions were attempting to photograph and record video of the elephant when the animal charged. Saddam fell during the ensuing chase and was then attacked by the elephant. The elephant lifted him with its trunk, threw him, and trampled him.
