Wooden luxury cars have a history of sparking interest, and the Bentley Continental GT from Belgium is the latest to do so online. The cost of this unique vehicle is approximately $98,900 (around 87 lakh rupees), an amount that could buy a road-ready, used Bentley.
The wooden Bentley Continental GT replicates the appearance of a real British luxury car. The design originates from ND Woodworking Art, a company known for its wooden car creations. Marine-grade plywood was used throughout the build. The process required over 3,000 hours and involved assembling countless wooden pieces to create a durable wooden Bentley Continental GT.
The design is inspired by the third-generation Bentley Continental GT (2017-2024), including details such as the large grille, bumper inlets, exhaust outlets, and oval-shaped headlamps. Dark accents around the headlights and taillights add to its visual appeal, along with 3D emblems for authenticity.
The interior features the same level of detail as the exterior. The doors open to reveal a cabin mirroring the Continental GT. The dashboard, center console, and door panels are meticulously crafted. The seats are made of wood and feature Bentley’s diamond pattern leather upholstery.
Although this 907 kg car does not have an engine, it is equipped with a rack-and-pinion steering linkage, allowing it to roll and steer. The wheels and tires are also made of wood. Except for the steel axles and acrylic windows, the entire car is a testament to wooden craftsmanship. Although it cannot be driven on the road, this Bentley Continental GT represents a luxury showpiece for car enthusiasts and art collectors.
