Maruti Suzuki is stepping into the future with the Victoris, an SUV that introduces several first-time features for the brand. These innovations aim to elevate the driving experience and provide a competitive edge in the SUV market. The Victoris showcases a 10.1-inch infotainment unit with a new user interface and advanced technological integration, including Alexa Auto voice AI, an app store, and internet connectivity. This system is present in the ZXI variant and supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A key enhancement is the underbody CNG tank, a first for Maruti, which allows for maximum utilization of the cargo area. The vehicle also includes a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, a convenient feature available on the top-spec ZXI and ZXI+ variants. The Victoris also features Level-2 ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, high-beam assist, forward collision warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. This suite of safety features is exclusively offered on the ZXI+ variant, paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV also features a 10.25-inch full digital driver display, larger than previous Maruti models. This display is available on the ZXI, ZXI+ and VXI strong-hybrid variants. Furthermore, the Victoris incorporates 64-color ambient lighting, enhancing the interior ambiance, available only on the top ZXI+ variant. The audio experience is enriched by the inclusion of an 8-speaker Infinity sound system, offering a premium sound experience. This system is available only on the fully loaded ZXI+ variant. The Maruti Victoris is slated to launch around Diwali 2025, with prices starting at ₹9.75 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete in the compact SUV market, challenging models like the Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Hyryder, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate.
