The Citroen Aircross SUV has demonstrated outstanding safety performance, earning a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test. The tested model, featuring a 5-seater configuration and a 1.2L petrol-automatic powertrain, showcased its safety prowess. It achieved 27.05 points out of 32 for adult occupant protection and 40 out of 49 for child safety. This safety rating is applicable across all Aircross SUV variants. The vehicle displayed commendable results in frontal and side impact tests, scoring 11.05 out of 16 and a perfect 16 out of 16, respectively. The protection provided to the driver and front passenger ranged from ‘marginal’ to ‘good.’ While the side pole impact test performance was rated as ‘okay,’ the Aircross scored full marks in both dynamic tests (24/24) and CRS installation tests (12/12). The ‘vehicle assessment’ yielded a score of 4 out of 13.
