
The Indian motorcycle market is witnessing a trend of including advanced features. Cruise control, a feature that enhances rider comfort on long journeys, is becoming increasingly common. This feature, previously limited to premium touring motorcycles, is now available in more cost-effective models. From basic commuter bikes to mid-range performance motorcycles, manufacturers are equipping their models with this useful technology.
The Hero Glamour X is an affordable option equipped with cruise control, priced at ₹89,999. It boasts segment-first features like a ride-by-wire throttle and three riding modes: Eco, Road, and Power. This motorcycle is powered by a 125cc air-cooled engine delivering 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque. The bike also includes a digital console with turn-by-turn navigation, more than 60 other features, and an integrated braking system for improved safety.
The TVS Apache RTR 310 is one of the most feature-rich naked bikes in its class, offering cornering cruise control and other electronic aids. With a starting price of ₹2.40 lakh, this bike features a bi-directional quick-shifter, cornering ABS, and traction control. The Apache RTR 310 has a 312.12cc single-cylinder engine, which generates 35.08 bhp and 28.7 Nm of torque, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox.
The TVS Apache RR 310, the fully-faired variant of the RTR 310, also includes cruise control, priced at ₹2.75 lakh. It is powered by the same liquid-cooled engine, tuned to produce 37 bhp and 29 Nm of torque. The RR 310 is equipped with a vertical TFT display providing four riding modes and advanced connectivity features.
The KTM 390 Duke, with the 2025 model year update, includes cruise control, as well as a new Ebony Black color. Priced at ₹2.95 lakh, the 390 Duke uses a 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine generating 44.25 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. The bike features a 6-speed transmission with a bi-directional quick-shift and a new chassis with a curved swing arm, adjustable suspension, and a 5-inch TFT display.
The KTM 390 Adventure X Plus, priced at ₹3.03 lakh, is the most budget-friendly adventure-tourer with cruise control. This bike uses the same 399cc engine as the 390 Duke, which produces 45.5 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. The motorcycle also features cornering ABS, traction control, and multiple riding modes. Designed for adventure touring, the 390 Adventure X Plus features a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, long-travel suspension, and dual-purpose tires.
