
The Tata Harrier EV is entering the electric SUV market, with bookings commencing on July 2, 2025. The price range for the Harrier EV is set between Rs 21.49 lakh and Rs 27.49 lakh for RWD, and Rs 28.99 lakh for AWD. This is a noteworthy move, bringing back an AWD layout for the manufacturer. The exterior of the Harrier EV is reminiscent of the ICE version, updated with EV-specific elements. It includes a closed-off grille and new 19-inch alloy wheels with EV badging. The Harrier EV offers a comprehensive comparison with other EV models such as BE-06, XEV-9, Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv, MG Windsor. Key performance metrics such as range, acceleration, battery capacity, feature sets (V2L/V2V), drivetrain, power output, torque, and charging times are analyzed. The base version has a 65 KWh LFP battery. The higher trims get a 75 KWh LFP battery paired with dual motors, generating 504 Nm torque. The Harrier EV offers a range up to 627 km for 75 KWh variants. A 7.2 KWh AC charger can fully charge the vehicle in 10.7 hours, and a 120 Kw DC charger can charge it from 20-80% in 25 minutes. The vehicle also includes advanced features like Ultra Glide Multi-Link Suspension, off-road assist, transparent mode, regenerative braking, and summon mode for convenience.
