The upcoming Scorpio-N pickup will likely be powered by the same 2.2-liter diesel engine found in the Scorpio-N SUV. This engine comes in two variants: a low-spec version producing 130 hp and 300 Nm of torque, and a high-spec version generating 172 hp with 370 Nm of torque with a manual gearbox or 400 Nm with an automatic. It is expected to include a 4×4 drivetrain, a low-range gearbox, and various terrain modes. The possibility of including a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, which produces 200 hp and 370 Nm of torque with a manual gearbox or 380 Nm with an automatic, remains uncertain. Mahindra recently shared teasers of four new concept models on social media, which are scheduled to be unveiled at the Freedom NU event on August 15. It is believed that the Vision SXT could potentially be a preview of this Scorpio-N-based pickup concept.
