Launched on August 15, 2025, the FASTag Annual Pass has proven to be a major success. The service has attracted over 500,000 users nationwide in a mere four days. Tamil Nadu saw the highest uptake of the pass, with Karnataka and Haryana following closely behind. Toll plazas in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh reported the highest transaction volumes.
The Rajmargyatra app has also achieved considerable success. It now ranks 23rd overall on the Google Play Store and is the second most popular app in the travel category. The app has been downloaded by more than 1.5 million individuals and has received a 4.5-star rating. This rapid growth has made it the leading government app in India, just four days after its release.
The FASTag Annual Pass simplifies travel with its one-time fee of ₹3,000, granting users a year of unlimited travel or up to 200 toll crossings, across approximately 1,150 toll plazas. The pass becomes active within two hours of purchase and can be obtained through the Rajmargyatra app or the NHAI website.
