The Suzuki Katana was equipped with a range of advanced features. These included the Suzuki Traction Control System, ride-by-wire technology, low RPM assist, the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), and the Suzuki Easy Start System. The Suzuki Traction Control System offered five mode settings. The primary reason for the Katana’s exit from the market was low sales. Its competitors included the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, Kawasaki Z900, and Ducati Monster. Suzuki’s current offerings in India include the Hayabusa, GSX-8R, and V-Strom 800DE.
