The Nexon EV is available with two battery pack choices. The initial 30 kWh battery pack delivers 129 bhp and 215 Nm of peak torque. The 40.5 kWh option provides a maximum output of 144 bhp and 215 Nm of torque. The manufacturer claims the smaller pack provides a range of 325 kilometers, while the larger one offers 465 kilometers when fully charged. The vehicle incorporates three drive modes: Eco, City, and Sport.
Inside, the car boasts a digital instrument cluster, a rear camera, keyless entry, automatic climate control, an air purifier, voice command functionality, parking sensors, power windows, advanced internet features, rear AC vents, a wireless charger, an auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, and a sunroof. The Nexon EV is positioned to compete with the Mahindra XUV400.
In terms of design, the Nexon EV includes 16-inch alloy wheels, projector and halogen lamps, foldable side mirrors, and the EV and Nexon badges on the rear. It has achieved a 5-star NCAP safety rating and features six airbags. The Nexon EV starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs 12.49 lakh, with the top model priced at Rs 17.19 lakh.
