The Indian cruiser motorcycle market is dominated by brands like Royal Enfield, Jawa, and Yezdi. Royal Enfield, a prominent name in this segment, has updated its price list. The adjustments are due to the implementation of GST 2.0, with the 350cc motorcycles becoming more affordable.
Following government changes to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the elimination of the compensation cess, Royal Enfield announced price drops of up to ₹22,000 for its 350cc motorcycles. The company has now revealed the revised prices across its range.
The new prices will be in effect from September 22, 2025. The Hunter 350, the entry-level model in the 350cc category, will start at ₹1.38 lakh. The top-end Goa Classic variant will be priced at ₹2.20 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Previously, all two-wheelers faced a 31 percent tax (28 percent GST + 3 percent cess). The latest changes mean motorcycles under 350cc will now have an 18 percent GST.
The 350cc models see price decreases, but those with larger engines have seen prices go up. This includes models such as the Scram 440, Himalayan 450, Guerrilla 450, Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Shotgun 650, Bear 650, and Super Meteor 650. The Super Meteor saw the largest increase, approximately ₹30,000. These motorcycles now attract a 40 percent GST, whereas previously the tax was at 31 percent.
