
The implementation of new GST rates on September 22nd has led to price reductions for scooters, with manufacturers passing on the savings to customers. This report examines the price changes for two popular scooter models: the Suzuki Access and the Honda Activa.
The Suzuki Access has seen a price reduction of 8,523 rupees, with the new price ranging from 77,284 rupees (ex-showroom) to 93,877 rupees (ex-showroom). The scooter features a color TFT digital console, navigation, last parking location details, caller ID, and WhatsApp notifications.
Honda Activa models have also benefited from the GST cuts. The 110cc model is now 7,874 rupees cheaper, and the 125cc model is 8,259 rupees cheaper. The price of the 110cc model ranges from 74,369 rupees (ex-showroom) to 84,021 rupees (ex-showroom), and the 125cc model costs between 88,339 rupees and 91,983 rupees. The Honda Activa comes equipped with a smart key, H Smart technology, a TFT screen, a 15-watt USB Type-C port for phone charging, alloy wheels, and an idle stop system.
In terms of mileage, the Activa 110cc 6G model offers up to 59.5 kilometers per liter, and the 125cc model provides up to 47 kilometers per liter. The Suzuki Access offers a mileage of up to 45 kilometers per liter.
