
Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Destini 110, a new scooter available in VX and ZX trims. The VX Cast Drum variant is priced at ₹72,000, while the ZX Cast Disc version is priced at ₹79,000, with prices ex-showroom Delhi. This scooter is a more affordable option compared to the Destini 125, equipped with a smaller engine, and is designed to compete with popular models like the Honda Activa 110 and TVS Jupiter 110.
Hero Destini 110: Design and Features
The Destini 110 maintains a similar aesthetic to its 125cc counterpart, featuring a retro-inspired design, chrome embellishments, projector LED headlamps, and H-shaped LED tail lights. The scooter includes a 785 mm seat, the longest in its class, along with an integrated backrest, 12-inch wheels, and a front glove box. The build incorporates three substantial metal panels, and the ZX variant comes with a 190 mm front disc brake.
Hero Destini 110: Engine and Performance
The Destini 110 is powered by a 110cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, generating 7.9 bhp and 8.8 Nm of torque. It features telescopic forks in the front and a single shock absorber at the rear. The scooter also includes a semi-digital instrument console and is available in five color options across the range.
Hero Destini 110: Fuel Economy and Competitive Edge
Hero emphasizes the Destini 110’s fuel efficiency, rated at 56.2 kmpl. It aims to deliver smooth, reliable, and cost-effective performance. The scooter utilizes Hero’s i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) and a one-way clutch for better fuel economy. The company will roll out sales through its dealerships in phases. Positioned competitively, the Destini 110 offers a lower price point than the Activa 110 and undercuts the top-spec variants of the Jupiter 110.
