After much anticipation, Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2025 Glamour X in the Indian market. The motorcycle is available at an introductory price of ₹89,999 (ex-showroom). The new Glamour X features refreshed styling and introduces several segment-first features. Available in drum and disc brake variants, the disc brake version is priced at ₹99,999 (ex-showroom). Bookings will commence on August 20th.
The Hero Glamour X was developed focusing on four key aspects: style, technology, comfort, and performance. The 125cc segment in India is rapidly expanding, with sales increasing by 19% annually, reaching 3.6 lakh units. Hero already has a strong foothold in this segment. The Glamour X incorporates a new signature exhaust system, with Hero claiming it will deliver improved mileage.
Design highlights include new H-shaped LED headlights and taillights, accompanied by LED turn indicators. It also features wide nylon handlebar grips, and an improved pillion seat. The motorcycle provides a comfortable ride with wide handlebars and slightly forward-placed footpegs. The 790 mm seat height and 170 mm ground clearance ensure easy maneuverability in city and highway riding conditions.
The 2025 Glamour X boasts several advanced features like ride-by-wire technology, electronic throttle body, and cruise control. It also retains a kick-start option, a feature absent from many modern bikes. It also offers a panic brake alert for safety and an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the instrument cluster’s display.
The color LCD display offers over 60 features, including turn-by-turn navigation, ride mode selection, gear position indicator, distance-to-empty, i3s on/off indicator, and cruise mode status. The bike offers under-seat storage, as well as a 2A Type-C USB charging port.
The motorcycle is powered by a 125cc air-cooled, 4-stroke fuel-injected engine that produces 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. A balance shaft and silent cam chain reduces vibrations. Hero has optimized the cam profile and gear ratios for a better throttle response.
The bike features three riding modes: Eco, Power, and Road. The exhaust note gives it a more substantial feel, while Hero’s AERA technology improves throttle accuracy and refinement. Riders can choose between self-start and kick-start.
The new Glamour X comes in five color options. The drum brake version is available in Matte Magnetic Silver and Candy Blazing Red, while the disc brake version features Metallic Nexus Blue, Black Teal Blue, and Black Pearl Red color schemes.
