The Hero Xoom 160 is now available for sale in India, with the company aiming to compete with established scooters such as the TVS Ntorq. The scooter made its first appearance at the Bharat Mobility Show earlier this year.
The Xoom 160 is designed to offer a blend of practicality and adventure, featuring a riding position and a rugged design that includes 14-inch alloy wheels and block-pattern tires.
This scooter is designed for both urban commutes and handling challenging roads, offering versatility for riders. Availability is planned across Hero Premia dealerships and through online channels. The price is set at approximately ₹1.49 lakh ex-showroom, with potential changes pending GST 2.0 implementation.
The Xoom 160 boasts a 156cc liquid-cooled engine, generating 14.69 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. It features Hero’s i3S silent-start system and 4-valve technology, offering enhanced performance compared to air-cooled engines. Key features include a smart key system, remote seat access, dual-chamber LED headlamps, ABS with front disc brakes, and a Bluetooth-connected digital console with turn-by-turn navigation.
