A SpiceJet passenger on a flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru had a flight experience unlike any other, spending the entire journey locked inside the airplane restroom. The door lock failed mid-flight, trapping the individual. With no way to open the door, the crew attempted to comfort the passenger, slipping a handwritten note under the door, instructing them to remain on the toilet seat until the plane landed. The flight, which was delayed, eventually reached Bengaluru, where engineers were able to unlock the door. The story quickly spread online, with social media users sharing the crew’s note and making light of the situation. SpiceJet has since expressed regret and offered compensation to the affected passenger.
