
Hyundai Motor India has announced substantial price cuts across its entire model lineup, starting from September 22, 2025. This move is designed to pass on the benefits of the revised GST 2.0 tax structure directly to the consumer. Hyundai estimates that prices will decrease by as much as ₹2.4 lakh depending on the specific model and its trim level. These changes are intended to make new car purchases more accessible and stimulate sales, especially during the upcoming festive period.
Hyundai i20 Price Cuts: The popular Hyundai i20 premium hatchback is seeing price reductions of up to ₹85,000. For example, the Magna variant, initially priced at ₹7,78,800, is now available for ₹7,12,385, a reduction of ₹66,415. The Magna Exe variant’s price has been reduced by ₹50,900, bringing the new price to ₹6,86,865.
The Sportz variant’s price has been reduced by approximately ₹67,397, with the new price at ₹7,74,403. Moreover, the Sportz (O) and Sportz (IVT) trims see reductions exceeding 9%. Higher-end versions like Asta and Asta (O) have also become more affordable, offering value to buyers across various trim levels.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Price Adjustments: For budget-conscious car buyers, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is now more affordable. This model benefits from price reductions up to ₹71,480.
The Era variant now costs ₹5,47,278, down from ₹5,98,300, while the Magna variant is priced at ₹6,25,853. The Sportz Dual CNG trim receives the most significant price cut, dropping from ₹8,38,200 to ₹7,66,720.
Price Cuts for Sedans: The Hyundai Aura compact sedan is also included in the price reduction initiative. Reductions vary from ₹55,780 to ₹76,316, depending on the specific variant. The base E trim is now priced at ₹5,98,320, and the E CNG variant benefits from a ₹64,368 reduction. The recently launched S AMT variant is priced at ₹7,38,812. Top-end variants like SX CNG, SX+, and SX (O) have also been reduced, making them more attractive to new buyers.
Anticipated Boost in Sales During Festive Season: The company anticipates these price cuts will attract more customers, especially first-time car buyers. Considering the tradition of increased car purchases during the festive season, the reduced prices are expected to significantly boost demand.
