Hyundai India has officially launched its much-anticipated second-generation Venue compact SUV and the sporty Venue N Line in the Indian market. With prices starting at Rs 7.90 lakh, these models are poised to significantly enhance Hyundai’s presence in the popular compact SUV segment.
The exterior styling of the new Venue and Venue N Line has been substantially updated. The front end is characterized by a bold rectangular grille adorned with dark chrome inserts and advanced quad-beam LED headlamps, projecting a strong and modern image. Distinctive C-shaped DRLs and a connected light bar across the rear add to the vehicle’s premium appeal.
Along the sides, the updated Venue sports new 16-inch alloy wheels and chrome door handles, with silver accents and the Venue moniker adding subtle detailing for a more dynamic stance. The rear design is muscular, featuring connected taillamps and a prominent 3D Venue logo.
Inside, the cabin has been completely reimagined with a stylish dual-tone dark navy and dove white interior theme. The dashboard is highlighted by an impressive twin 12.3-inch curved display system, enhanced by a new terrazzo texture. Passenger comfort has been a key focus, with a 20mm longer wheelbase providing more rear legroom, alongside practical additions like rear AC vents, sunshades, and reclining seats for extended journeys.
A significant technological advancement is the integration of Level 2 ADAS, offering a suite of advanced safety and driver-assistance features. The vehicle also comes equipped with essential safety features such as six airbags, ESC, a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
Premium convenience features include wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a voice-operated sunroof, front ventilated seats, and ambient lighting to enhance the driving experience.
Engine options for the new Venue include a 1.2L petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel. The diesel engine now offers the convenience of a 6-speed automatic gearbox option. The Venue N Line exclusively uses the potent 1.0L turbo petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT.
The new Hyundai Venue is launched with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 7,89,000, making it a strong contender in its segment.
