The July 2025 car sales data for the Indian market highlights the competitive landscape. Maruti Suzuki maintained its leading position, selling 1.37 lakh vehicles. Mahindra secured the second spot with a substantial 19.8% growth compared to July 2024, selling 49,871 units. Hyundai followed, ranking third with 43,973 units sold, though experiencing a sales decline. Tata Motors ranked fourth, selling 39,521 units. Toyota completed the top five with 29,159 units sold. The Dzire was Maruti Suzuki’s top seller, and the Scorpio led Mahindra’s sales. The Creta was Hyundai’s best-selling car. The Innova was the top-selling Toyota model.
