Mercedes-Benz vehicles are popular among celebrities, and the G-Wagon is a top choice. Actor Karan Kundra has recently purchased a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, which cost approximately ₹3 crore. This new vehicle has quickly become a topic of discussion, and here is what makes it special.
Karan Kundra posted pictures with his new SUV on Instagram, using a brief ‘G’ as the caption. He opted for the Night Black model of the SUV.
Currently, the brand offers the Mercedes-Benz G580 in India. The vehicle visible with Karan Kundra, however, looks like the G400d. This variant is positioned beneath the G63 AMG in the Mercedes-Benz lineup and is equipped with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine, which produces 326 hp and 700 Nm of peak torque. This power is delivered to the wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Despite its weight of approximately 2.5 tons, the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. In contrast, the more powerful G63 AMG, powered by a 585 hp V8 engine, can achieve this in 4.3 seconds.
Karan Kundra’s car collection includes a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon as well. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is renowned for its off-road capabilities and is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces 291 hp and a peak torque of 400 Nm. Features of this car include 20-inch alloy wheels, a Burmester surround sound system, a sliding sunroof, ambient lighting, a wide-screen cockpit, 64-color ambient lighting, front seats with massage functions, three-zone climate control, heated and cooled front seats, an exposed spare wheel cover, and LED tail lights.
