Mahindra is poised to introduce a revamped Bolero, with an anticipated launch possibly next month. The company is preparing a wave of new vehicle releases, including an updated Bolero Neo, in time for the festive season. The revamped Bolero is expected to feature refreshed styling, drawing inspiration from the boxy design of the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon. The updated Bolero will have cosmetic changes while retaining its existing mechanical underpinnings. Updates are expected to include a new grille with Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo and possible headlamp modifications. Interior enhancements are also planned, including a new touchscreen infotainment system and revised upholstery, echoing the design found in the Thar Roxx. The vehicle might be powered by the existing 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine, delivering 75hp and 210 Nm of torque, paired with the current 5-speed manual gearbox. The new Bolero will continue to use a ladder frame chassis, which could result in an 18% GST rate. While a launch next month is speculated, an official announcement from Mahindra is still pending.
