Mahindra is set to launch three new SUVs during the festive season, starting with the updated Bolero Neo and the standard Bolero, both slated for release on October 6th. Following these, the facelifted Thar 3-door will be introduced. Furthermore, Mahindra is planning to refresh its XUV700 range for an early next year launch.
The Bolero Neo, formerly known as the TUV300, will see its second facelift, incorporating a new grille, slightly altered bumpers, and minor interior updates. Higher variants may benefit from upgraded upholstery and extra features. Dealers indicate that Mahindra has retuned the suspension for improved ride comfort, with the engine expected to remain unchanged.
Along with the Bolero Neo, the standard Bolero will receive modest updates. These will involve minor cosmetic adjustments to the exterior and some interior refinements to modernize the vehicle. The Bolero has been a reliable vehicle for Mahindra for over two decades, remaining popular in smaller cities and rural areas.
The focus will then shift to the Thar 3-door facelift. The second-generation Thar, launched in October 2020, has achieved over 2.59 lakh unit sales. The Thar 3-door has consistently driven significant sales for the Thar family, alongside the Thar Roxx. The facelifted version will incorporate elements from the larger model, including a premium cabin, soft-touch materials, and a larger infotainment screen in top-end trims. While exterior design updates are not yet known, the engine options are expected to remain the same.
