
The Maruti Ertiga, a popular MPV in India, is set to receive an update. The new model is expected to have expanded dimensions. The overall length will increase from 4.39 meters to 4.43 meters, and boot space will be larger. The wheelbase will remain at 2.74 meters. It is possible that the manufacturer will further increase the dimensions of the Ertiga Tour M fleet variant.
**Ertiga Updates: Safety and Pricing:**
The 2025 Maruti Ertiga will feature a TPMS. There will be some changes to the AC vents for the second row. The MPV lineup has been updated with six airbags, which has slightly increased the price. The current Ertiga model is available in nine variants, with prices ranging from ₹9.11 lakh to ₹13.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
**Engine and Performance:**
The refreshed Maruti Ertiga is likely to use the current 1.5-liter K-Series petrol engine, which delivers a maximum of 102 bhp and 136 Nm of torque. The CNG version offers 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard, and some petrol variants will have a 6-speed automatic transmission.
**Upcoming New Model Launch:**
Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch a new Arena-exclusive mid-size SUV to compete with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The new SUV will be positioned between the Brezza and Grand Vitara. This new model will be available for sale on September 3, 2025. The official name and other details are still pending. However, it is expected that the new Maruti SUV will be named ‘Escudo’ or ‘Victorris’.
