The Maruti Ertiga has received an update in the Indian market, aimed at improving its appeal with families. The update includes design tweaks, enhanced safety features, and updated technology. The positioning of the AC vents in the second row has been changed, moving from the roof to the center console, which is a common design choice. The starting price of the 2025 Ertiga is ₹9.11 lakh.
Cosmetic changes include a redesigned rear spoiler for a more modern appearance. The third-row passengers now benefit from individual vents and blower controls. USB Type-C ports are added to the second and third rows for improved connectivity. The new Ertiga is 40mm longer than the previous model, with a total length of 4,435mm. It also features a new roof-mounted rear spoiler, updated tail lamps, a new tailgate, and rear quarter panels. The front design elements remain consistent with previous models.
Safety upgrades are a major part of the update. All variants now feature six airbags as standard. All seating positions include 3-point seat belts. The engine options remain unchanged: a 1.5-liter K15C smart hybrid petrol and CNG versions. The petrol variant delivers up to 20.51 Km/L, while the CNG version offers around 26.11 Km/Kg fuel efficiency.
