Moto Morini has implemented price reductions of up to ₹91,000 on its Seiemmezzo Retro Street and Scrambler models. The new ex-showroom price for the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo Retro Street 650 and Scrambler is now ₹4.29 lakh. Both models share similarities, with the Scrambler distinguishing itself through wire-spoke wheels instead of the alloy wheels found on the Retro Street.
This is the second price reduction this year for the Seiemmezzo models. Previously, the Seiemmezzo 650 Retro Street was priced at ₹6.99 lakh, and the 650 Scrambler at ₹7.10 lakh. Earlier in the year, a ₹2 lakh price cut was announced, bringing the prices down to ₹4.99 lakh and ₹5.20 lakh respectively, making these bikes more affordable for consumers.
The price adjustments are a response to the upcoming changes in the GST framework. The revised GST structure will impose a 40% tax on motorcycles with an engine capacity exceeding 350cc. The company anticipates that the prices of both bikes will increase by up to ₹33,000 from September 22, 2025, due to these new GST rates.
Moto Morini is also introducing festive offers, which include flexible loan and EMI options, and up to 95% coverage of the loan amount.
The Seiemmezzo 650 motorcycles are equipped with a 649cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 55 bhp and 54 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The price cuts have made these motorcycles more competitive in the market, aligning them closer to models like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Benelli 650.
The Seiemmezzo 650 motorcycles are sold through Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), which manages brands such as Benelli, Keeway, Moto Morini, Zontes, and QJ Motor. AARI, a subsidiary of the Mahavir Group, has a widespread presence with over 60 dealerships and a customer base exceeding 20,000 across India.
