The American motorcycle brand, Indian Motorcycle, has released its new bike series in India. The 2025 Indian Scout series is now available, with an ex-showroom starting price of ₹12.99 lakh. This new range includes eight models: Indian Scout Sixty Classic, Indian Scout Sixty Bobber, Indian Sport Scout Sixty, 1010 Scout, Scout Classic, Scout Bobber, Sport Scout, and Renge Super Scout.
Two engine choices are offered in the 2025 Indian Scout series. Three base models feature a 999 cc engine, producing 85 bhp and 87 Nm of torque. The remainder of the range is powered by a new 1,250cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, called SpeedPlus. This engine delivers 105 bhp and 108 Nm of torque, an increase over the previous 1,133cc engine. This engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox. Indian Motorcycle highlights that the new engine setup offers better performance in the low and mid-range.
Key features of the Scout series include several trim levels. The Limited variant comes in standard, Sport, and Renge options, along with riding modes, such as traction control. An analog dial instrument cluster with a small digital readout is featured. The top-tier models include keyless ignition, USB charging, and a TFT display with connectivity features.
With its new engine platform and upgrades, the 2025 Scout Bobber aims to attract riders searching for a mid-weight cruiser with a classic bobber styling. The motorcycle is designed to compete with established models like the Harley-Davidson Nightster and the Triumph Bonneville Bobber, maintaining its position within the Indian Motorcycle range.
Prior to this release, the price of Indian bikes in India started from ₹20,20,000. Indian Motorcycle currently sells three models, including Chief Dark Horse, Chief Bobber Dark Horse, and Super Chief Limited. The FTR 1200 is also planned for release. The Super Chief Limited is the most expensive Indian bike, priced at ₹22,82,155.
