Kia is preparing a facelift for the Seltos, with the updated model spotted undergoing testing. The test vehicle reveals changes to the front fascia, including new headlights. The new Seltos is expected to be released early next year. Design elements are inspired by the EV9 and Syros, featuring an extended wheelbase. The front showcases a concave grill between the headlights, and the bumper has updated elements. The rear will also be updated, with a continuous light bar. The interior will be redesigned, with design cues from other Kia models. Engine options will include a 115Hp 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, a 160Hp 1.5-liter turbo petrol, and a 116Hp 1.5-liter diesel engine. A hybrid powertrain is expected, potentially using the 1.5-liter NA petrol engine. The car will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Tata Curvv. The Hyundai Creta is expected to launch in 2027, and the Kia Seltos facelift might launch before it. The Seltos’s hybrid launch could influence the Creta’s hybrid strategy.
