The automotive market is witnessing an increased emphasis on safety and features. In response, Renault India has launched the 2025 version of its popular SUV, the Kiger. The new Renault Kiger 2025 enhances safety with the inclusion of six airbags and 21 advanced safety features. The base price of ₹6.29 lakhs makes this vehicle an attractive option. It presents itself as a great choice in the family car segment, offering a combination of stylish design, a modern interior, and powerful performance.
The Kiger’s variant lineup has been updated. The Authentic (base) variant is available at ₹6.29 lakhs, Evolution at ₹7.09 lakhs, Techno at ₹8.90 lakhs, and Emotion at around ₹9.14 lakhs. These prices apply to models with the non-turbo petrol engine.
For the turbo-petrol range, the Techno (with CVT gearbox) is available for ₹9.99 lakhs. The Emotion (Turbo Petrol) is priced from ₹9.99 lakhs to ₹11.29 lakhs. These prices are introductory and will be available during the festive season.
Subtle but effective changes have been made to refresh the Kiger’s appearance. These include a new front bumper incorporating LED headlights and LED fog lamps. DRLs remain unchanged. The new model also introduces 16-inch alloy wheels with a new design, minor rear modifications, and a new Oasis Yellow color option.
The interior has been updated to enhance the driving experience with a new dashboard layout featuring an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Safety has been improved, with six airbags and 21 active and passive safety features (such as hill hold assist and a tire pressure monitoring system). The new Kiger retains the same engine options as before: a 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, coupled with a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.
