The Renault Kiger facelift is scheduled for launch on August 24th, promising an affordable and feature-rich compact SUV experience. This updated version introduces new cosmetic and feature upgrades, with a focus on enhancing its appeal. Teaser images show design changes, including a C-shaped taillight arrangement, a shark fin antenna, and a sporty rear bumper design. A new green color option will be available for buyers. The front fascia receives a makeover with a new grille, incorporating the Renault logo, and maintaining the existing split headlamp setup. The side profile design will mostly remain the same. The Kiger facelift is anticipated to retain its existing engine options, comprising a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated and a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine. The first engine option delivers 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque, while the second generates 100 PS and 160 Nm of torque. Gearbox options are likely to remain the same: a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission. A CNG option will be available through dealership retrofits. Interior details are yet to be confirmed, but a new infotainment system, an updated cabin theme, and refreshed seat upholstery are expected. Existing features like the 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, wireless charging, automatic AC, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering mounted controls, an air filter, and ambient lighting are likely to be retained. The new Kiger is expected to be priced near the current model, which has a price range between ₹6.15 lakh and ₹11.23 lakh (ex-showroom). The vehicle will compete with models such as the Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Maruti Brezza.
