A recent report from a Japanese website has revealed a new version of the Swift Sport, which could be a strong contender for the Indian market. The new Swift Sport is expected to come with a 1.4L Inline 4 Cylinder Turbo engine and a 48V mild Hybrid system. Performance enhancements are also expected to be seen in the body and suspension. Suzuki has previously launched performance-oriented hatchbacks in India, like the Baleno RS. The current Swift Sport already boasts features such as rigid axle supports and tuned coil springs. The global launch of the new Swift Sport is anticipated by 2025, and an India launch may soon follow, potentially powered by a 1-liter three-cylinder Turbo engine. The new model showcases a redesigned front fascia with aggressive styling, a revamped front grille, and sporty alloy wheels with red calipers.
