Ola Electric, a leading electric scooter company in India, has released a teaser for its upcoming electric scooters. These new products will be launched at the Sankalp 2025 event. The event will be held at Ola’s Gigafactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The event will also include presentations on upcoming products, technology roadmaps, and the launch of MoveOS 6, the new software for their electric two-wheelers.
The teaser offers glimpses of two different scooter designs. One showcases a sporty aesthetic, while the other is designed for families. The sporty scooter boasts sharp lines, pronounced edges, and a stylish seat. It also incorporates angled pillion grab handles for a more dynamic appearance. The design is complete with a small front beak and a single-piece grab handle.
The teaser also reveals a significant detail: the presence of a small camera at the front of the scooter. This suggests that upcoming Ola e-scooters will include advanced features such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which are expected to improve safety and enhance the riding experience.
Ola Electric has announced the launch of MoveOS 6. Following the previous release of MoveOS 5, which focused on safety features, MoveOS 6 will focus on AI integration. This may include the introduction of an AI chatbot and a voice assistant to provide riders with the ability to communicate with their scooters, access information, control features, and seamlessly manage trips and navigation.
The most significant surprise at Sankalp 2025 could be the Ola Diamondhead electric motorcycle. This model, part of the Moonshot project, features a futuristic design, with a domed front section housing a long LED strip, echoing the style of the Cybertruck.
