Ola Electric has reached the 1 million unit production mark for its electric two-wheelers within four years. Production started in 2021, and the company achieved this milestone at its Future Factory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Ola Electric is positioning itself as the first company to accomplish this. To celebrate, a special edition Ola Roadster X+ was launched as the 1 millionth model.
The S1 electric scooter range, introduced in 2021, was the foundation for Ola Electric’s success. The company broadened its product range this year with the launch of the Roadster electric motorcycle range, beginning with the Roadster X+. Ola Electric, however, has also encountered difficulties, including reliability concerns, fire incidents, and subpar service. In August 2025, VAHAN data showed that Ola Electric was the second-largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer, behind TVS.
