Skoda is offering price reductions of up to ₹3.3 lakh on its vehicles after the GST cut. The prices of cars have been reduced under GST 2.0. Companies like Tata, Hyundai, Mahindra, and Audi have already announced their new prices, effective September 22. The new GST structure imposes an 18% tax on small cars and a flat 40% tax on large vehicles, a decrease from the prior tax rate, including cess, of 45-50%.
Skoda India intends to pass on the entire advantage to its customers, resulting in price reductions of up to ₹3.3 lakh. Additionally, Skoda is offering special festive discounts of up to ₹2.5 lakh for those who book before September 21. The Skoda Kodiaq presently begins at ₹46.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This car will now be available at a discount of up to ₹3.3 lakh. However, the festive offer is exclusively for individuals who reserve their cars before September 21.
