The success is primarily driven by the Skoda Kylaq SUV, which has been well-received by customers since its launch. The high demand for Kylaq has made it the top-selling vehicle in Skoda’s portfolio. Models such as Kushaq, Slavia, and Kodiaq have also played a crucial role in maintaining steady sales. Skoda’s progress within the competitive Indian market suggests that its strategies are successful. Premium features, high performance, and dependable quality have made Skoda a popular brand among consumers. The company anticipates continued growth in the coming months. Skoda Auto India’s strong performance in 2025 is based on its product strategy. The Kylaq, the brand’s first sub-4 meter SUV, has already sold over 34,500 units, contributing significantly to the company’s total of 53,355 units sold between January and September 2025. The Skoda Kylaq is equipped with a 999cc 1-liter turbo-petrol engine that delivers 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. It is available with a 6-speed manual and automatic (DC/TC) transmission. Features include 6 airbags, parking sensors, a cooled glovebox, and cruise control. The boot space is 446 liters, and the ground clearance is 189 mm.
