Skoda Auto India is preparing to refresh the Kushaq, its mid-size SUV, with a mid-life update. The Kushaq, which has been in the market for almost four years, is expected to get a facelift next year. The test vehicles have already been seen on the road. The 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift is likely to keep the current engines while adding some new cosmetic changes and features. The refreshed Kushaq is expected to compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and other models in the mid-size SUV segment. The spy shots show that the updated Kushaq will have a grille with slightly thinner vertical slats, new headlamps with a connected DRL setup, and new fog lamp assemblies. The SUV will also get new connected tail lamps, inspired by the new Kodiaq, new front and rear bumpers, and new alloy wheels. The 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift will likely get new upholstery and trims. The feature upgrades will include Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) and a panoramic sunroof. Other features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital driver display, an 8-speaker sound system, a wireless phone charger, automatic AC with rear vents, ventilated front seats, 6 airbags, hill hold assist, a 360-degree camera, a rear parking camera with sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchorage will be carried over from the current model. The engine options will remain the same. The 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift could be available with 1.0-liter TSI and 1.5-liter TSI petrol engines, which produce 115PS (178Nm) and 150PS (250Nm) of maximum power, respectively. The engines will be available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the bigger engine will have a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
