A passenger on a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru had an unusual travel experience when they were locked inside the aircraft’s lavatory for the flight’s entirety. The airline expressed regret and reportedly offered a refund to the affected passenger. The passenger was eventually freed after the plane landed in Bengaluru. According to reports, the flight was delayed by two hours and took off from Mumbai at 2:10 AM. Soon after takeoff, a passenger on seat number 14D entered the restroom, and the door locked, trapping them inside. The crew attempted to open the jammed door without success. As a gesture of comfort, the crew slipped a note under the door encouraging the passenger to remain calm and wait until the plane landed. The handwritten note and the situation were widely shared on social media, sparking amusement among users.
