A Mumbai to Bengaluru SpiceJet flight was the scene of an unusual predicament when a passenger became confined within the lavatory shortly after takeoff. The door lock failed, preventing the passenger from exiting. The crew, unable to open the door, resorted to communicating with the passenger via a handwritten note passed under the door, advising them to remain in place until the flight landed. The incident, which took place on a flight that had been delayed, was met with amusement on social media platforms after the crew’s note went viral. Upon arrival in Bengaluru, ground personnel were able to free the passenger. SpiceJet has apologized for the inconvenience and offered the passenger a refund.
